Client’s Challenge
The client needs to route calls directly from Dialpad to the associated contact owner in HubSpot, without passing through a commutator.

Solution
Our Backend Dev Team created a new endpoint where we can capture the caller info, use the phone number and search it in HubSpot contacts.
- When receiving an inbound call, Dialpad receives the information of the caller
- Then, via the new endpoint, searches for a matching contact in Hubspot.
- If the app finds the contact, it will return the Dialpad user ID and routes the call to the associated contact owner in HubSpot.
- If not, it will route the call to the default fallback number.
